From the research
TB-500 is a lab-made fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein your body already makes. It carries the part that works with actin, the protein cells use to move, and has been studied for how repair cells travel to where they're needed.
Researchers have looked at its role in how muscle, tendon, ligament and skin tissue rebuild after strain or injury.
TB-500 has been researched for its role in recovery after training, including flexibility and range of motion as tissue recovers.
In lab models, TB-500 has been researched for its role in new blood-vessel formation and calmer inflammation signals, two things recovering tissue depends on.
Based on published research, much of it in lab and animal studies. Individual results vary. TB-500 is not FDA-approved for any use, and compounded medications have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness.

TB-500 is a peptide, a short chain of amino acids. It's a lab-made fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein your body makes naturally and found in almost every cell. It has been researched for tissue repair, recovery, flexibility and how cells move to repair sites. At Bon it is prescribed by a licensed clinician and compounded by a licensed U.S. pharmacy.
No. Compounded drugs, including compounded TB-500, are not FDA-approved. They are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient with a prescription.
In October 2026, HHS announced an interim policy saying it won't take enforcement action against state-licensed pharmacies compounding TB-500 acetate as an injection (under the skin or into the muscle) for individual patients, when strict sourcing, testing and reporting conditions are met. This is not FDA approval, and it may change. State rules can differ.
Research-chemical sites sell powder labeled 'for research only,' with no prescription and no clinician. Bon's TB-500 is prescribed for you, compounded by name in a licensed U.S. pharmacy from tested ingredients and shipped with what you need to take it.
Many people ask about both. Adding BPC-157 means a separate prescription. Your clinician reviews each one and decides if it's right for you.
As a small subcutaneous injection, just under the skin. Your clinician sets your dose and schedule from your assessment and can adjust it at check-ins.
There's very little human safety data on TB-500, especially for long-term use. Possible effects include redness, soreness or itching where you inject, and allergic or immune reactions. In lab research TB-500 is tied to cell growth and new blood vessels, so it's not for anyone with active cancer or a history of cancer. It's also not for anyone pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, or under 18. Tell your clinician about all medications and conditions.
TB-500 is named on the World Anti-Doping Agency's Prohibited List (S2) and is banned at all times, in and out of competition, and so is BPC-157. A prescription doesn't change that. If you're drug-tested for sport or service, don't use it.
If your clinician decides TB-500 is not right for you, you get a full refund.
