This Medical Disclaimer governs your access to and use of bonhealth.io (the "Site"), which is owned and operated by Bon Health Corporation, a Delaware corporation ("Bon Health," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Medical Disclaimer, which is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Informational and Educational Purpose Only
The Site is an informational and marketing website. All content made available on the Site — including, without limitation, text, graphics, images, photographs, videos, audio, infographics, links, testimonials, research citations, product descriptions, editorial content, user interface elements, and any other materials (collectively, the "Content") — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. The Content is not, and is not intended to be, a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. No Medical Advice; No Physician-Patient Relationship
Nothing made available on the Site constitutes or is intended to constitute (a) the practice of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, psychology, nutrition, counseling, or any other healthcare profession; (b) medical advice, clinical guidance, diagnosis, prescription, treatment recommendation, or second opinion; or (c) an offer or promise of any specific clinical outcome.
Your use of the Site does not create a physician-patient relationship, doctor-patient relationship, provider-patient relationship, pharmacist-patient relationship, therapist-client relationship, or any other healthcare, treatment, or fiduciary relationship between you and Bon Health. Communications with Bon Health through the Site — including through contact forms, chat interfaces, email, SMS, or any other medium — are informational only and do not constitute a medical consultation, do not establish a treatment relationship, and are not maintained as part of a medical record.
Any clinical consultation, medical evaluation, diagnosis, prescription, dispensing, laboratory testing, or other healthcare service referenced on or linked from the Site is offered solely by independently owned and operated third parties, which may include licensed physicians and other clinicians, professional medical corporations and associations (the "Medical Groups"), the individual clinicians employed by or contracted with the Medical Groups (the "Providers"), licensed pharmacies (the "Pharmacies"), and clinical laboratories (the "Labs"), each acting under its own terms, consents, privacy practices, and clinical protocols (collectively with any affiliated telehealth platforms, the "Partner Platform"). Bon Health is not a Medical Group, Pharmacy, or Lab; does not itself practice medicine; and is not a party to the professional relationship between you and any Provider.
3. Not a Substitute for Professional Medical Advice
Always seek the advice of a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, symptom, medication, procedure, or treatment. Never disregard, avoid, or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you have read, seen, or heard on the Site. If you think you may have a medical condition, contact a licensed healthcare provider immediately.
Medical information and guidance must be individualized. Only a clinician who has reviewed your complete medical history, current medications, allergies, laboratory results, physical examination findings, and other individual factors can make appropriate clinical recommendations for you. The Content is generalized and is not tailored to any individual.
4. Medical Emergencies
IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL 911 OR GO TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY ROOM IMMEDIATELY. Do not use the Site or any form of electronic communication with Bon Health to seek help for urgent or emergency medical issues. The Site is not monitored for emergency communications, messages sent through the Site may not be reviewed in real time, and Bon Health is not equipped to respond to emergencies. The Site is not an appropriate resource for emergency, urgent, or acute medical needs, including but not limited to cardiac symptoms, stroke symptoms, suicidal ideation, severe allergic reactions, overdose, or acute injury.
If you or someone you know is in crisis or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, call or text the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (in the United States), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
5. Medications, Compounded Products, and Prescription References
Any references on the Site to prescription medications, compounded medications, branded medications, generic medications, over-the-counter products, supplements, therapeutic classes, or specific molecules (including, without limitation, references to medications such as semaglutide, tirzepatide, finasteride, minoxidil, sildenafil, tadalafil, sertraline, bupropion, or any other named compound) are for informational and educational purposes only. Such references are not, and must not be construed as, a recommendation, endorsement, prescription, offer, or promise of any medication for any individual.
All medications carry risks, which may include serious or life-threatening side effects, adverse reactions, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, contraindications based on existing medical conditions, allergic reactions, withdrawal symptoms, and dependency risks. Whether any given medication is appropriate, safe, and effective for you depends on factors that must be evaluated by a licensed prescribing clinician, including your full medical history, current medications, known allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, age, weight, organ function, and concurrent conditions.
Do not start, stop, increase, decrease, substitute, or otherwise change the dosage or use of any medication based on information obtained from the Site. Always consult your prescribing clinician before making any decision regarding medication.
5.1 FDA Status; Compounded Drugs
Certain medications referenced on the Site or discussed on the Partner Platform may be compounded preparations. Compounded drug products are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality, and compounded drugs have not undergone the same premarket review as FDA-approved products. References on the Site to compounded medications do not imply that such products are equivalent to, or interchangeable with, any FDA-approved drug. Individual state laws may restrict or prohibit certain compounded drugs.
5.2 Off-Label Use
Some medications may be discussed in the context of off-label uses — that is, uses other than those for which the FDA has approved the drug's labeling. A discussion of off-label use is not a recommendation that you use any medication off-label. Only a licensed clinician, exercising independent clinical judgment, can determine whether an off-label use is appropriate for a specific patient.
5.3 No FDA Evaluation of Statements
Statements made on the Site regarding medications, supplements, or treatments have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration unless expressly stated. The Content, and any products or services referenced on the Site, are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
6. Individual Results; Testimonials and Endorsements
Any testimonial, review, case study, before-and-after image, weight-loss figure, symptom-improvement claim, timeline, or other outcome representation appearing on the Site reflects the individual experience of a specific person at a specific time and under specific conditions. Individual results vary. Outcomes are not guaranteed. Testimonials are not representative of what any other person will experience, and no specific outcome is promised or implied.
Outcomes depend on many factors, including individual physiology, the underlying condition, adherence to clinician guidance, concurrent medications, diet and lifestyle, duration of treatment, and other individual circumstances. Where testimonials or endorsements appear on the Site, they are provided voluntarily and, where required, with appropriate compensation or material-connection disclosure in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 C.F.R. Part 255).
7. Third-Party Content, Research, and Links
The Site may reference, summarize, cite, link to, or embed third-party websites, research articles, clinical studies, regulatory guidance, news reports, podcasts, videos, or other third-party materials. Such references and links are provided for informational and convenience purposes only. Inclusion of third-party content does not constitute an endorsement by Bon Health of the third party or its content. Bon Health does not control, and assumes no responsibility or liability for, the accuracy, completeness, currency, safety, or practices of any third-party website or resource, or for any content accessed through such third parties. Your access to and use of any third-party website or resource is at your own risk and subject to that third party's terms and policies.
8. Separation From the Partner Platform
The Site is a marketing and informational surface for Bon Health. It is separate from, and must not be confused with, the Partner Platform. Any decision to engage with the Partner Platform — including by initiating a consultation, submitting a medical intake form, requesting a prescription, purchasing a product, or receiving a dispensed medication — is a separate transaction governed by the Partner Platform's own terms and policies, including any applicable notice of privacy practices, informed-consent documentation, and telehealth consents. Bon Health does not provide the clinical services offered through the Partner Platform and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any Medical Group, Provider, Pharmacy, or Lab.
9. Accuracy and Currency of Information
Medical knowledge and clinical guidance evolve continuously. While Bon Health endeavors to provide accurate and current Content, Bon Health does not represent or warrant that any Content is complete, accurate, current, reliable, or free from error. Content may be superseded, corrected, or withdrawn without notice. Bon Health has no obligation to update the Content. You should independently verify any information with a qualified healthcare professional and with currently authoritative sources (including the FDA-approved labeling for any medication).
10. No Warranty
THE CONTENT AND THE SITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bon Health and the Bon Health Parties (as defined in our Terms of Service) disclaim all warranties and conditions, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, title, freedom from error, freedom from harmful components, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. Without limiting the foregoing, Bon Health does not warrant that the Content is accurate, reliable, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose.
11. Assumption of Risk; Limitation of Liability
You acknowledge and agree that your use of, and reliance on, the Content is at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Bon Health Parties shall have no liability to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any injury, illness, worsening of a medical condition, adverse drug reaction, delay in seeking care, economic loss, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or death alleged to arise out of or in connection with your access to, use of, or reliance on the Content, regardless of the legal theory asserted (contract, tort including negligence, strict liability, statute, or otherwise) and even if a Bon Health Party has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Additional limitations on liability are set forth in our Terms of Service.
12. Jurisdictional Availability
The Site is intended for users located in the United States. Bon Health makes no representation that the Content is appropriate or available in any particular jurisdiction. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
13. Changes to this Disclaimer
Bon Health may update, modify, or revise this Medical Disclaimer at any time without prior notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after any revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Medical Disclaimer.
14. Relationship to Other Terms
This Medical Disclaimer is incorporated into, and forms part of, our Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between this Medical Disclaimer and the Terms of Service as they specifically relate to medical information on the Site, this Medical Disclaimer shall control. All other matters are governed by the Terms of Service.
