What NAD+ does in your cells
Every cell in your body runs on NAD+. It's why NAD+ sits at the center of so much research on healthy aging.
01 · Energy
Shuttles electrons in the reactions that make ATP, your cells' energy currency.
02 · Cell upkeep
Used by sirtuins and the enzymes behind DNA repair, the crew that keeps cells running.
03 · Healthy aging
Researchers study how NAD+ changes as we age. It's part of many longevity routines.

One assessment, two prescriptions
On compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide with Bon, or starting one? Ask your clinician about NAD+ in the same assessment. It's a nasal spray, so there's no extra shot in your week. Each is its own prescription, reviewed on its own, and they can ship together.

From the research
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme, a helper molecule your cells can't run without. It's made from forms of vitamin B3, and every living cell uses it.
NAD+ works like a shuttle. It picks up electrons from the food you eat and carries them to your mitochondria, in the reactions that make ATP, the cell's energy currency. Then it goes back for more, over and over.
NAD+ is also used by enzymes involved in cell maintenance, including sirtuins and the enzymes behind DNA repair.
Researchers study how NAD+ changes as we age, and it's a core part of many longevity routines. Bon's is prescription NAD+ in a nasal spray you use at home.
Based on published research on NAD+ and related compounds, much of it in lab and animal studies. Individual results vary. NAD+ is not FDA-approved for any use, and compounded medications have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness.

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme, a helper molecule found in every cell. Your body makes it from forms of vitamin B3 and uses it in the reactions that turn food into energy and in everyday cell maintenance. It's researched for healthy aging. At Bon it is prescribed by a licensed clinician and compounded by a state-licensed U.S. pharmacy as a nasal spray.
No. There is no FDA-approved NAD+ drug, and compounded drugs, including compounded NAD+, are not FDA-approved. They are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient with a prescription.
Yes, with a prescription. NAD+ isn't a peptide, so the October 2026 HHS peptide policy doesn't apply to it. Instead, NAD+ is on FDA's list of bulk ingredients still under review for compounding (Category 1). While that review is ongoing, FDA has said it doesn't intend to take action against state-licensed pharmacies that compound with it for an individual patient's prescription, as long as the ingredient comes from an FDA-registered manufacturer with a certificate of analysis. That isn't FDA approval. FDA hasn't finished its review, and this can change. State rules differ.
Because of what it does in every cell. NAD+ is the coenzyme your cells use in the reactions that turn food into energy, and it's used by sirtuins and the enzymes behind DNA repair. That's why it's researched for healthy aging and why so many people make it part of a longevity routine. Most human research so far is on oral forms like NR and NMN, and individual results vary. Your clinician checks in on how it's going.
NR and NMN are building blocks your body can convert into NAD+. Bon's is prescription NAD+ itself, not a precursor capsule. It's prescribed by a licensed clinician and made for you by name in a state-licensed U.S. pharmacy from tested ingredients.
As a metered nasal spray, at home. Your clinician sets your dose and schedule from your assessment and can adjust them at check-ins.
There are no published human studies of NAD+ nasal spray, so safety data is limited. The most likely effects are where you spray it: nose or throat irritation, stuffiness, sneezing, or a bitter taste. Headache is also possible. Oral NAD+ boosters have been generally well tolerated in short-term studies. Stop and contact us if you have a nosebleed, a rash, or trouble breathing. Lab research links NAD+ to cell growth, and one mouse study tied an NAD+ booster to faster cancer spread, so it's not for anyone with active cancer or a history of cancer. It's also not for anyone pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, or under 18. Tell your clinician about all your medications. Your clinician reviews your history first.
NAD+ isn't named on the WADA Prohibited List. IV drips of more than 100 mL in 12 hours are banned for athletes (method M2.2), but a nasal spray isn't an IV. WADA's list isn't exhaustive, though, and its S0 group covers substances not approved for human use. If you're drug-tested for sport or the military, check with your anti-doping body (Global DRO or USADA) or OPSS before you start, and bring the prescription.
If your clinician decides NAD+ is not right for you, you get a full refund.

Some members are prescribed NAD+ alongside other treatments. Each is its own prescription, and your clinician reviews each one and decides if it's right for you.
