From the research
Epitalon is a short peptide of just four amino acids (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly). It's modeled on a natural compound from the pineal gland, the small gland that helps set your body clock.
Researchers have looked at how Epitalon relates to melatonin signaling and circadian rhythm, the 24-hour cycle behind sleeping and waking.
In lab studies, Epitalon has been researched for telomerase activity. Telomerase is the enzyme that helps maintain telomeres, the protective caps at the ends of your chromosomes.
Animal studies have looked at Epitalon's role in markers of healthy aging. Human research so far is limited.
Based on published research, much of it in lab and animal studies. Individual results vary. Epitalon is not FDA-approved for any use, and compounded medications have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness.

Epitalon is a peptide, a short chain of four amino acids (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly). It's modeled on a natural compound made in the pineal gland, the small gland that helps set your body clock. It has been researched for telomerase activity, circadian rhythm, melatonin signaling and healthy aging, much of it in lab and animal studies. At Bon it is prescribed by a licensed clinician and compounded by a licensed U.S. pharmacy.
No. Compounded drugs, including compounded Epitalon, are not FDA-approved. They are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient with a prescription.
In October 2026, HHS announced an interim policy saying it won't take enforcement action against licensed pharmacies compounding certain peptides for individual patients when strict conditions are met. That includes Epitalon acetate as an injection, dispensed in intermittent courses, meaning in courses with breaks. This is not FDA approval, and it may change. State rules can differ.
As a small subcutaneous injection, just under the skin, in courses with breaks in between. Your clinician sets your dose, course length and schedule from your assessment, and can adjust them at check-ins.
Epitalon is usually prescribed as a set course followed by a rest period, rather than every day without a pause. That follows how it has generally been studied. Your clinician decides the length of each course and break, and reviews how things are going before your next one starts.
Epitalon has been studied for its role in sleep cycles and melatonin signaling, but it isn't a sleep aid and we can't promise how it will affect your sleep. Everyone responds differently. If sleep is a main goal, mention it in your assessment so your clinician can look at the full picture.
Many people ask about both. Adding MOTS-c means a separate prescription. Your clinician reviews each one and decides if it's right for you.
Human safety data is limited, and there's very little for injections. Most commonly reported: redness, swelling or mild soreness where you inject. Allergic or immune reactions are possible. Because lab research links Epitalon to telomerase, an enzyme tied to cell growth, it's not for anyone with active cancer or a history of cancer. It's also not for anyone pregnant, trying to conceive, breastfeeding or under 18. If you take melatonin, sleep medication or other prescriptions, tell your clinician about them and about any conditions you have. It's prescribed in short courses, not nonstop.
Epitalon isn't named on the World Anti-Doping Agency's prohibited list, but unapproved substances like it fall under its S0 category, which is banned at all times. Starting in 2027 the list names peptides in that group. If you're drug-tested, don't use it without clearing it first.
If your clinician decides Epitalon is not right for you, you get a full refund.
Epitalon is priced per course. Pick Bi-annual, 2 courses for $268 ($134 a course), or a single course for $149. Bi-annual is billed up front, but each course ships on its own, timed to your course-and-break schedule, with free shipping. You can pause, skip or cancel anytime from your account.
From $134/course. Clinician review, tested ingredients and free shipping included.
